Marula Platinum Mine is inviting applications for the Engineering Learnership Programme 2025. This opportunity is designed to train candidates towards becoming qualified artisans in various engineering trades.

- Diesel Mechanic
- Boilermaker Plater
- Electrical
- Fitting (including Machining)
Minimum Requirements
To be considered, applicants must meet the following:
- Grade 12 / STD 10 / NQF Level 4 equivalent is essential.
- Minimum of N2 with four (4) subjects relevant to the trade OR NCV Level 4.
- Must undergo:
- Knowledge assessment
- Psychometric assessment
- Formal interview
- Obtain a valid medical certificate (Red Ticket) and Heat Tolerance Screening (HTS).
Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will:
- Be trained towards becoming an artisan in a structured programme.
- Assist artisans with technical work, including maintenance, repairs, and applying engineering principles.
- Complete all engineering training phases (on and off the job).
- Follow Marula Mine rules, regulations, and best practices.
- Work under the supervision of an allocated coach (artisan or foreman).
- Conduct fault diagnosis, problem-solving, and reporting.
- Help prevent production losses and maintain efficient engineering equipment.
- Gain valuable supervisory skills.
