About the Programme
The Health and Welfare Sector Education and Training Authority (HWSETA) is offering learnership opportunities for 2026 to young South Africans who want to build a future in the health and social services sectors.
This programme gives unemployed youth the chance to gain practical work experience and accredited qualifications while earning a monthly stipend. It’s designed to help participants “earn while they learn,” combining theory with workplace training to prepare them for meaningful careers.

Minimum Requirements
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen aged 18–35

- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Community or volunteer experience

Stipend Information
