About the Learnership
Guardrisk, a division of Momentum Metropolitan Holdings, is giving unemployed South African youth the chance to start their careers in the insurance and financial services industry through a 12-month Learnership Programme.
The programme provides both theoretical training and on-the-job experience, helping learners gain a recognised qualification and valuable workplace skills.
Upon completion, learners will achieve a Short Term and Long Term Insurance NQF Level 4 qualification, accredited by INSETA and SAQA.
While permanent employment isn’t guaranteed, this opportunity opens the door to career paths in:
- Claims
- Operations
- Client Services
What the Programme Offers
- 12 months of structured learning and hands-on work experience
- A monthly stipend of R6,500
- An INSETA-accredited qualification
- Exposure to real industry work and mentorship
Minimum Requirements
To qualify, applicants must:
- Have a Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 certificate
- Have passed:
- Pure Maths with at least 60%, or
- Maths Literacy with at least 70%
- English with at least 65%
- Be unemployed and not currently studying
- Be between 18 and 30 years old
- Never participated in a learnership before
Key Responsibilities
- Attend classes and complete all practical training tasks
- Gain in-depth knowledge of Guardrisk’s products and operations
- Keep a portfolio of evidence and work logbook for SETA
- Manage client queries and service requests professionally
- Build relationships with clients and team members
- Maintain high standards of communication, accuracy, and integrity
- Take part in assessments and feedback sessions
- Support process improvements and operational efficiency
