About the Learnership

Fidelity Services Group is offering a Security Officer Learnership Programme for 2026, giving young South Africans the chance to gain valuable skills and hands-on experience in the security industry. Learners will receive both theoretical and practical training, equipping them with the knowledge and discipline required to work effectively in various security environments.

Key Responsibilities

Participants in the Fidelity Security Officer Learnership will be required to:

Monitor security cameras and alarms to detect suspicious activity.
Patrol designated areas to maintain safety and security on-site.
Report any incidents or security breaches to the relevant authorities.
Assist and support employees, visitors, and clients as needed.
Complete all required coursework and training modules.
Comply with company policies and safety regulations at all times.

Minimum Requirements

To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Minimum PSIRA Certificate Grade C
Minimum Grade 10 qualification
Must have previously contributed to UIF
Youth between 18 and 27 years old will receive priority consideration
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
Willingness to learn and participate in a structured training programme
Attention to detail and strong sense of responsibility
Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening
