About the Opportunity
The Youth Employment Service (YES) is a national initiative led by the Presidency to tackle youth unemployment. Eskom is proud to be part of this programme, offering young people the chance to gain practical work experience in the energy sector.
If you are unemployed and eager to build your future, this 12-month contract could be your entry point into the world of work.
Who Should Apply?
You qualify if you meet the following:
- South African citizen.
- Aged 18–34 years old.
- Completed Matric / Grade 12 (post-matric certificates will be an added advantage).
- Currently unemployed.
- Not studying full-time in 2025.
- Not permanently employed with a single employer for more than 12 months.
- Not previously part of the YES programme.
