About the Programme

Steinmüller Africa is offering a structured Draughtsperson-in-Training programme. Learners will be trained to create high-quality technical drawings that meet SANS 10111 and international drawing standards.

This programme is ideal for candidates who are passionate about engineering design and want to build practical skills in a professional environment.

Please note: Successful applicants will be required to work at heights and in confined spaces. You must be comfortable with these conditions.


Minimum Requirements

To qualify, applicants must have one of the following:

  • N3 National Certificate (completed)
    OR
  • Grade 12 with strong results:
    • Technical Drawings/Engineering Graphics & Design (EGD) – 70%
    • Mathematics (not Maths Literacy) – 60%
    • English – 60%

A Draughting Certificate in the Mechanical or Piping field will be an added advantage.

  • Senior Certificate / N3 Certificate
  • Statement of results
  • Driver’s licence (if available)
