CHIETA: Apply for the 2025–2027 Administration Internship

The Chemical Industries Education and Training Authority (CHIETA) is calling on unemployed graduates to apply for their Administration Internship Programme.

Closing Date: 26 September 2025
Location: Gauteng
Duration: 24 Months (Fixed-Term Contract)
Stipend: R7,000 per month

This internship will give you the chance to gain hands-on experience by supporting the ETQA Business Unit and other CHIETA teams.


Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma (NQF 6 equivalent) in Business Administration or related field (65% average or higher).
  • No prior work experience required.
  • A valid driver’s license will be an advantage.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Good report-writing skills.
  • Ability to collaborate within teams and build strong relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capture and maintain accurate accreditation and ARPL data.
  • Document control, filing, and record-keeping.
  • Provide admin support to specialists and practitioners.
  • Assist with accreditation and RPL monitoring processes and reporting.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • General administrative support for the Accreditation Sub-Unit.
  • Manage and support skills development activities.
